The Saint Clair Police Department is a full-Time department trained and capable of handling any/all criminal investigations.

     Our department is comprised of officers cross-trained in all aspects of law enforcement, ranging from patrol tactics to homicide investigations.

     Each officer within the department is specifically trained in his/her field as well as other necessary applications.

     The Saint Clair Police Department has officers trained and certified in Advanced Criminal Investigation, Homicide investigation, vehicle accidents and reconstruction, vehicle and heavy truck inspection, child abuse investigations, narcotics investigation, computer crime investigations, including forensic analysis   and all other facets of police training.

     Our department has it's own firearms instructors as well as officers trained and certified to teach the DARE program. We do have officers who conduct heavy truck inspections within the borough on a regular basis.

     Our officers are able to handle all aspects of a criminal investigation ranging from the initial call, evidence collection, interview/interrogation of suspects, filing of necessary charges and prosecution of the case throughout the Schuylkill County Court System.
