Saint Clair bans U-turns on Rt. 61

SAINT CLAIR — As a courtesy, Saint Clair police are informing the public that “No U-Turn” signs have been erected at all traffic lights along Route 61 in the borough.
Police said officers will begin issuing citations to anyone caught making a U-turn in these areas.

 

SAINT CLAIR POLICE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT

The Saint Clair Police Department is actively involved with the click it or ticket program and the aggressive driving smooth operator program.  The Saint Clair Police Department will be out in force on all roadways for the Summer months.  Please drive carefully.

 

SAINT CLAIR CAR CRUISE  

The Annual Saint Clair Car Cruise is Scheduled for July 15th, 2006.  Parking restrictions will be in effect the day of the cruise.  Posted areas must be free from parked cars and violators will be ticketed and towed.

 

 

The Saint Clair Police Department did make application and was approved for a grant for the explicit purpose of providing equipment for the police department used to better assist the community. During the latter part of 2005, the Saint Clair Police Department was issued a check in the amount of $10,000. The grant money was used to equip the department with some much needed equipment. Some of this equipment includes: GPS system, new computers, entry tools, Assault rifle(s),  new portable police radios, Less lethal Taser weapons, various crime scene investigation supplies, etc.
