The Saint Clair Police Department regularly participates in the inspection of commercial vehicles to help make our local roadways safe. The Saint Clair Police Department includes officers who have received training to conduct the following inspection details:

• North American Standard Level I Commercial Vehicle Safety Inspection -Systematic driver/vehicle inspections as authorized by the Vehicle Code (Title 75 Pa.C.S. §4704(f)).

• Vehicle Weighing and Measuring -The use of weighing equipment as required by the Vehicle Code (Title 75 Pa.C.S. § 4981(a)).

 
TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT 

The Saint Clair Police regularly receives grants to provide overtime funding for the staffing of DUI Checkpoints, DUI roving patrols, and the Click It or Ticket seatbelt enforcement campaign. Our agency participates in both the Buckle Up PA and Smooth Operator campaigns.
